    Pursuant to the Goldwater-Nichols Defense Reorganization Act of 1986, the United States Special Operations Command was established on April 16, 1987, at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.
     
    MARSOC was not formed and folded in until 2006, nevertheless, Happy 30th Birthday SOCOM.

    In a few weeks I'll be back in the Barkin' Bakken Oilfield, for now, enjoy this gem fro this winter. 
     

     
    I've been roughneckin' a lot lately, a nice turn from the Pipe side of things, a nice paycheck too. Rigs are a lot of fun and a good sense of pride and work. Most of the full-time roughnecks are a close knit group too. I'll be stopping in TS now and then to say hi to everyone.
